Camera Access

Sentia requests access to your camera so you can take photos of places, artwork, or streets. These photos are analyzed to generate cultural context and spoken guidance. Images are processed only for recognition and experience generation purposes and are not permanently stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to deliver the feature.

Location Data

With your permission, Sentia uses your location to provide nearby context, walking experiences, and route guidance. Location data enables the app to identify relevant nearby landmarks and generate walking routes. You can use Sentia without location access, though some discovery and routing features may be limited.

Anonymous Analytics and Usage Data

We use privacy-focused analytics technologies (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand how features are used, measure performance, and improve the quality of the app. These analytics operate in an aggregated or pseudonymous manner and do not identify you personally. Analytics data is used strictly for product improvement and service reliability.

Personalization and Taste Learning

Sentia may analyze in-app interactions — such as scanned places, listening activity, visited locations, and exploration patterns — to personalize recommendations and improve discovery experiences. Personalization signals are processed in aggregated or pseudonymous form where possible and are never sold or shared for advertising purposes.

Anonymous Usage

You can use Sentia without creating an account. Anonymous usage is supported. If you choose not to sign in, your experience will remain functional, although some personalization features may be limited.

Subscriptions

Certain features of Sentia are available through subscriptions billed and managed by Apple. Sentia does not collect or store your payment information.
